They’re getting old(er). Maggie is now 8 1/2 years. Samson will be 7 years on April 8th. Time flies. We are trying to decide when to get a Golden Retriever pup. We’ll see.

Who said you can’t ride in the winter? Excellent day in South- and North Carolina for a ride on my Thoroughbred. 60 degrees and sunny. Stopped by Rockingham, North Carolina Motor Speedway. Tried to get her on the track 😂. Not a chance.

Experience Sulby Straight at the Isle of Man TT aboard the carbon-fibre framed BMW HP4 RACE. Professional BMW Motorrad racer Peter Hickman rides flat out in sixth, bouncing off the rev limiter. Filmed on a closed road during an official racing event at the Isle of Man TT 2017. Amazing rider, and bike.
Will be headed up the the mountains Thursday 10/9 – Sunday 10/12 for the annual 2019 Blue Ridge Gathering at Moonshine Creek, Balsam, NC.
This is a gathering of motorcycle riders from near and far, getting together to camp and ride. There are plenty of excellent riding up there, and in my opinion one of the best riding areas in the country.
Taking the S1000XR, since it is made for these mountain roads. I can’t help it. It is just a beast of a machine, and riding it is a true pleasure, let alone on mountain roads in Western North Carolina.
