Coming up next week, we’ll be headed to Edisto Beach State Park. We’ll be staying at the Live Oak Campground for this trip. I’ll keep this post updated as we explore.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We stayed at the Live Oak campground, which is one of two campgrounds in the state park. The other is closer to the beech. The Live Oak Campground site about a mile from the ocean.<\/p>\r\n

Getting in there, the roads are very tight, with trees and other vegetation very close to the roads, with also had a few very sharp turns. We did not have an issue with our 30′ rig. Just be aware that if you arrive with a bigger outfit, be careful driving.<\/p>\r\n

Campsite was fairly nice, but also very tight, with thick vegetation all around. Miles of very nice bike\/ebike trails to explore. We didn’t bring our bikes for this trip, so we walked instead.<\/p>\r\n

Very quiet place, with the occasional sounds of cars coming down 174.<\/p>\r\n

I’ll give this campground 4 stars due to the very tight roads within the campground, and also tight campsites.<\/p>\r\n
